ASHP - Executive Vice President/CEO Search

The ASHP search is under way for the next Executive Vice President/Chief Executive Officer of ASHP.  The ASHP Board of Diectors intends to select the new EVP/CEO-designate in April 2011 and will introduce this individual at the 2011 Summer Meeting.  Dr. Henri Manasse will retire as of December 31, 2011, allowing for some period of transition wih the EVP/CEO-designate.

ASHP Pharmacy Practice Model Initiative Summit Participants

ASHP and the ASHP Foundation Pharamcy Practice Model Initiative team have selected the following people from Minnesota as an invitee and observer for the PPMI Summit.  The PPMI Summit is an invitational censensus conference that will bring together thought leaders throughout hospital and health-system pharmacy to reach consensus on optimal practice models that are based on the effective use of pharmacists as direct patient care providers.  The Summit will be held in Dallas, Texas on November 7-9, 2010.

2010-2011 ASHP Recognized Student Societies of Health-System Pharmacy -  Congratulations to the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy to be one of the 91 Student Societies of Health-System Pharmacy who have earned official recognition from ASHP for 2010-2011.
