Mission Statement:

The mission of the Minnesota Society of Health-System Pharmacists (MSHP) is to provide visible leadership, education, advocacy and networking opportunities which support its members as they enable people to make the best use of medications.

Within the context of our mission, MSHP is committed to promote personal, professional and organizational growth of its members by means of the following objectives:

• To provide safe, rational, and cost-effective medication use
• To develop, promote and implement programs and policies to improve
  and assure the quality of pharmacy practice
• To provide a forum for sharing ideas among our members
• To provide educational programming to maintain and improve the
  professional competence of pharmacists, technicians, and students
• To foster positive public awareness of the pharmacist's role in health care
• To represent our membership before other professional, regulatory and
  legislative bodies and health care groups in Minnesota

A dynamic and successful organization depends on dedicated members; dedicated to their organization, to their profession, to each other and to themselves.  Active MSHP members work with colleagues from all facets of pharmacy, formulating and implementing policy, planning and executing projects.  It is the members that define MSHP's goals and create the challenge and therefore reap the benefits!
